Wookiee Hut Cuisine presents:
by MaceVindaloo & SuSu
He learned this about himself when he was a younger man, the first time he went out into space. Though he knew it was cold, he never expected the dampness accompanying the frigid temperatures in the sealed spacecraft. The others on the crew served up this warm and warming brew at all times of day. It was rich and delicious and really warmed him!
He grew so fond of the concoction that his judgement and abilities were impaired, and he was forced to swear it off. Rather than pining over his loss, he learned to appreciate the memory of this hot beverage fragrant coffee, the aroma of Whyren's heating up, and the rich scent of sweet cream. He learned to love to make the delicious brew for others, and to vicariously enjoy their enjoyment.
"It could be worse," explains Booster. "I could have become addicted to something that didn't smell so good!"
Beat the cream until it's short of "set" or "soft peak" it should be thickened but not whipped.
While the coffee is brewing, fill heat-proof clear glasses with boiling water to heat the glass. Leave in until the coffee is done.
Pour the coffee into the hot glass, till about half full. Add the sugar and stir to dissolve. Add the jigger of whiskey.
Gently pour the cream over the back of a large spoon to "float" the cream on top of the coffee.
Serve as hot as you can. Sip slowly and sigh.
